The Progressive Kinesiology
Academy was founded in 2000 by Miranda Welton Cert. Ed. Touch for
Health Instructor, KFRP, RMANM, MAR and Elizabeth Hughes BA (Ed.
Psych) RMANM, Cert Nutrition, KFRP.
Tutors involved in Progressive Kinesiology Academy
have trained to a high professional standard. They are dedicated
to Kinesiology and its progression into everyday lives. Not only
do they teach Kinesiology, as well as other disciplines, but also
all run busy practices treating clients/patients in their local
areas.

Touch for Health Instructor, KFRP, RMANM, MAR
Miranda originally trained in Kinesiology in 1994
having found it an invaluable tool with her own and her family’s
health. She then went on and completed her Reflexology
Diploma in 1996, which she originally began in 1991 and also completing
her Reiki training to Master level in 1996. In 2000 she gained
her Certificate in Education with Anglia Polytechnic University
plus holds various teaching and assessors qualifications. Since
then she has attended many courses and training including Wellness
and Energy Kinesiology, Kinetic Energen and Bowen.
She has taught her main therapies and also runs
interest classes and workshops from time to time, as well as running
her own Health practice. She has in the past co-tutored the Reflexology
Diploma Course for the Association of Reflexologists at The Life
Force Centre, Colchester and taught Adult Education Classes for
Essex County Council.
Her special interests lie in body/mind and emotional
work, nutrition and inherited (Miasm) factors and feels Progressive
Kinesiology will offer people the correct balance of holistic healthcare
she firmly believes in.
Elizabeth Hughes BA (Ed.Psych)
RMANM, Cert Nutrition, KFRP
Elizabeth graduated from Warwick University in
Education and Psychology in 1993. She subsequently trained in Kinesiology
in 1994, Reflexology in 1996 and Nutrition in 1997.
Elizabeth teaches all the above subjects from
basic to professional levels and enjoys sharing her knowledge and
experience and runs her own successful practice in Colchester. Her
special interest lies with children, who have health or educational
problems. She believes Progressive Kinesiology is the best direction
for health and aims to educate people about their bodies so they
can be responsible for their own health.
